Local photographer Kevin Edwards has a love affair with wildlife and the outdoors. As a young boy growing up in a small rural area of northwestern Pennsylvania, Kevin became involved in the Pennsylvania Breeding Bird Atlas Program. After relocating to Florida his love affair continued becoming a sea turtle volunteer, water quality monitor and consulting as a shorebird monitor for the Stump Pass Dredge and Venice Beach Re-nourishment projects. Kevin’s nature photography has been featured in “Florida’s Living Beaches” published by Pineapple Press and in many brochures for the State and US Fish and Wildlife Services along with many Florida County Natural Resources Departments. |
