Ducks!!

This page is dedicated to the ducks. Florida has a variety of ducks during migration. For those looking for relatively rare ducks the Black-bellied Whistling Duck normally found is south Texas is becoming more common in the area. There is one lake in Port Charlotte that I can usually count on 50 to 100 birds on. Also, the Celery Fields in Sarasota is a common haunt for them. Fulvous Whistling Ducks are also found in Florida, but the only place I have scene them is STA4 (Sewer Treatment Area 4) near Lake Okeechobee.
