Size 33" An all black bird with an orange pouch and crests that are not always visible when wet. 

  Double-crested Cormorants dive and swim for their food like the Anhinga.  The rookery I found was on a small island in a fresh water lake.  They can be distinguished from the Anhinga by the lack of the long pointed bill.  Both are often seen sitting on a low hanging branch with their wings spread for drying.
