Size - 10 1/2" : Long pointed bill.    Long yellow legs.   

The Lesser Yellowlegs is found throughout the county.  It looks almost identical to the Greater Yellowlegs except that it is smaller and has a sharp pointed bill where the Greater Yellowlegs has a slightly turned up bill and gets up to 14 inches.  The Lesser's bill is about the size of his head while the Greater's is longer than the head
