Size : 24" All white bird, long black bill, black legs and yellow feet.

The Snowy Egret is many people's favorite.  It is often found on the beaches or ponds feeding on small fish.  I have found them nesting in other large rookeries, but only a few in the rookery mixed with other egrets and herons.  They were once heavily hunted for their plumes
