Size - 6" : Finely streaked breast.  No central dot.  White eye ring.  Small rust patch on shoulder not always visible.  In flight it has white outer tail feathers.

The Vesper Sparrow is an  uncommon bird to Charlotte County. I got these pictures in Rotonda Lakes.  They are apparently may winter here.  It was late in the season when I got these pictures, but they were taken 3 weeks apart so they may winter over here.
