Size : 62"  All white pelican with black on the tips of the wings that only shows while in flight.  Yellow pouch and the large growth on the bill during breeding.

The White Pelican is a winter resident here.  It nests on the Great Salt Lake.  I have seen hold over birds here in the summer on bird key near Bull Bay.  In the winter they are common in Placida near the Fishery Restaurant and sometimes on Lemon Bay near Grove City.
